Rental terms

These terms cover every Totes Not Boxes rental. By booking, you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@totesnotboxes.com.

Rental period

Each package includes two weeks, starting on the drop-off date. You can add a week for $49 (1 and 2 bedroom) or $79 (3 and 4 bedroom). Let us know before your rental ends so we can adjust pickup.

Delivery and pickup

Delivery and pickup are free within about 30 minutes of Bourbonnais, IL. Addresses outside that area may carry a mileage fee, quoted before you book. Drop-off and pickup can be at different addresses as long as both are in our service area. Please have the totes stacked and ready at the agreed pickup spot.

Late returns

If totes aren't available at the scheduled pickup, the rental extends by the extra-week rate for your package. [CONFIRM LATE POLICY]

Care, damage and loss

Use the totes for packing and moving household goods. Please don't write on them, use them for hazardous materials, chemicals or food waste, or leave them outside long term. Totes or dollies that are lost or damaged beyond normal wear are charged at [REPLACEMENT FEE] per tote and [REPLACEMENT FEE] per dolly. [CONFIRM DEPOSIT POLICY]

Your belongings

You're responsible for packing and for the contents of each tote. Totes Not Boxes is not liable for loss of or damage to items packed in the totes.

Payment and cancellation

Payment is taken when you book. [CANCELLATION POLICY, e.g. full refund up to 48 hours before drop-off]

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you book applies to that rental.
